Register a Wing

Free to enter, and the prize is a jet flight. Six students at one institution, one of whom is the Wing Captain and carries the paperwork. Registration takes about five minutes. Please read what this is and is not before you enter.

01 · THE WING
Subject to approval. No political, offensive or commercially conflicting names.
02 · WING CAPTAIN
Enrolment is verified against this address at T-8 weeks.
03 · ROLES
One competitor may hold two roles, except that the Pilot Candidate may not also be the Combat Officer. At least four of the six must be enrolled on an undergraduate programme. A competitor may compete for only one institution in a season.
Try it before you commit
Both skill drills are playable in the browser at /university/drills — free, no download, no account. Play them before you ask five friends to sign up for a season.
What this does not do
Registering a Wing is not an application to the Propeller Series or to a JWC team. The University Series carries no entitlement to a place in any other series, and no result in it creates one.
What happens next
You receive a Wing reference immediately. Enrolment is verified at T-8 weeks, and JWC Holdings may audit any competitor’s status at any time.
What it costs
Nothing. JWC Combat is free to download and play on iOS, Android and in a supported desktop browser.
Roster changes
Up to two changes per qualification cycle, up to T-6 weeks. After that, only for documented medical or academic reasons.
Who cannot compete
Anyone holding a current JWC competition licence, anyone under contract to a JWC team, and employees of JWC Holdings, the IACSF, promoters or official partners.
